ROSA I. RUBIO

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Rosa I. Rubio was born and raised on the southside of Chicago. She is an alum of Trinity Christian College, located in Palos, Ill. Rosa earned her BA with a concentration in Psychology along with a minor in Education. Rosa joined the Gads Hill Center Team in Spring of 2015. Her professional and volunteer experience includes Public Health, Civic Engagement, Community Engagement, and Social Emotional Development services for disadvantaged communities within diverse populations reaching over 25,000 people annually. Rosa holds a comprehensive commitment to social ethics, social justice and values for the development of opportunities to build stronger Chicago families.

Rosa is committed to partnerships with CDPH Healthy Chicago 2.0, CPD, CPS (Parent University), UnidiosUs, BPNC, PNCC, Noble Network, various Census committee’s including the Cook County Census 2020 and the Census Coalition led by Cook County Commissioner Alma Anaya.
